Silver Pendant "The Fire Cross" (large)

In Latvian ethnography the Fire Cross symbolises energy of the Sun, happiness and fire. The Sun gives us warmth, enable the processes of nature, ensures fertility, brings happiness into our lives. By increasing our inner energy we become more happy and able to give feeling of happiness and safety to our beloved ones. The fire protects us from evil. In earlier periods it was the fire at night in a dark forest or light of a candle in a small farmhouse. The Fire Cross protects us during the fights. The fight does not have to be armed, more likely it would be each of us fighting with ourselves and negative issues that we face during our lives.
