Mārtiņa sign symbol of kight and fire. This is symbol of harvest, prosperity, fertility.  We celebrate Martins Day in the Autumn, after harvest. At this moment the farmenr's harvest storages are the most complete, and we sacrified a rooster as a gratitude to the divinity Mārtiņš, thus hoping for a rich harvest in the next year as well.
